You Were Warned

In Week 4 of our series, Faithful Until the End, we walk through 2 Timothy 3 and Paul’s sobering reminder that the chaos of our moment isn’t surprising — we were warned. Isaiah, Jeremiah, Jesus, and Paul all foresaw a world where truth is inverted, love grows cold, and people keep learning but never arrive at the truth.

Paul shows Timothy the danger of a faith with the appearance of godliness without power, and he exposes the trap of consuming spiritual content without ever being changed by it.

But he doesn’t leave Timothy in the warning — he turns to the anchor: continue in what you’ve learned, remember who you learned it from, and stand on the Scriptures that teach, correct, restore, and train us for every good work. When the world shifts daily, the Word remains the ground beneath our feet.
